Walthamstow Weaving

Currently I am working with an architect based in Walthamstow to create a wall hanging inspired by the historic Warner Estate.

We decided on a neutral cotton and linen weaving warp to suit the interior of the bedroom where the piece will be hung. I will be introducing blocks of colour in the weaving, to represent the distinctive red bricks and green door paint that is typical of the houses.
